Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) junior Maureen Stormont has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) offensive player of the week, it was announced on Monday afternoon. Stormont scored three goals this past week in two wins for the Bulldogs, with two of the three serving as game-winners. She scored the first of two Bulldogs' goals in a 2-0 win over Upper Iowa, and then she added both UMD tallies in a 2-1 victory over Winona State.
