Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- UW-Superior junior defenseman Jeff Forsythe has been named to the American Hockey Coaches' Association (AHCA) West All-American second team, it was announced on Thursday.
Forsythe was the top-scoring Yellowjacket for a third straight season, finishing with six goals and 12 assists in the 2012-13 season.
The junior is the first All-American to come from UW-Superior since 2009, when both Chad Chad Beiswenger and Braden Desmet were named to the first team.
