Vikings, Packers Announce 53-Man Rosters

(NNCNOW.com) --- The Vikings and Packers both announced their 53-man rosters on Saturday with quarterbacks leading the headlines as Minnesota kept Christian Ponder and Green Bay hung on to three QB's as well.

Ponder is expected to be the third-string QB for the Vikings. Other notable cuts for Minnesota included defensive tackle Fred Evans along with a pair of safeties in Chris Cocker and Kurt Koleman.

Across state lines, Green Bay will enter Week 1 with three quarterbacks for the first time since 2008 with Matt Flynn and Scott Tolzien backing up Aaron Rodgers. Two undrafted rookies also made the cut.
