Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Adrian Peterson was the lone Minnesota Vikings player to be selected this season to the NFL's Pro Bowl roster, marking the running backs' sixth selection to the All-Star weekend. Peterson currently ranks third in the NFL this season with 1,266 rushing yards, reaching that total despite having missed one game due to injury. He's also added 10 rushing touchdowns and one receiving score for the Vikings with one regular season game remaining. The NFL this season selected players to the Pro Bowl regardless of conference affiliation, meaning Peterson will have to wait a bit to see who his teammates will be for the All-Star weekend.
