Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph has been added to the 2013 NFC Pro Bowl roster, it was announced on Tuesday.
Rudolph will replace Atlanta's Tony Gonzalez, who will not particiapte because of an injury.
The second-year pro finished the 2012 regular season with 53 catches for 493 yards and nine touchdowns, an exponential improvement in all areas from his rookie season.
This will be the first Pro Bowl appearance for Rudolph, who becomes the sixth Minnesota player scheduled to take part in the NFL all-star game.
The 2013 NFL Pro Bowl is scheduled for Jan. 27 in Honolulu.
