Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Minnesota Vikings tacke DeMarcus Love will miss the first four games of the season for violating the league's performance-enhancing drugs policy, the National Football League (NFL) announced on Thursday.
Love is expected to back-up Matt Kalil but will have to wait until his suspension is up on Monday, September 30.
The third-year pro was notified of the positive test in April but lost an appeal shortly afterward.
Since being drafted in 2011, Love has yet to appear in a regular season game.
