Wells, Thunder Blank Ironmen in MCAC Quarters

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Rial Wells had four interceptions and a fumble recovery on Friday afternoon as the Fond du Lac football team earned a shutout win over Vermilion, 60-0 in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) quarterfinals.

Wells returned one of his interceptions for a touchdown, and he also finished with four tackles in the winning effort for the Thunder.

Fond du Lac improves to (6-3) this season and will next be in action on October 27 for the MCAC semifinals at Public Schools Stadium in Duluth, Minn.
