Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- With a little more than a week until the 2013 season opener, first-year head coach Curt Wiese says the puzzle pieces are starting to come together for the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) football team.

"We're happy with where we're at. Our guys have progressed in all three phases of the game," Wiese said. "Now, we're just looking for consistency and for our guys to start coming together on offense and defense."

UMD's first game of 2013 is set for 6:00 p.m. on Sept. 7 at Malosky Stadium against Sioux Falls. That game can be seen on live television in the Northland on the My 9 Sports Network.
