St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- With just one week left in the regular season, Minnesota failed to help their playoff chances Sunday night, losing to Calgary, 4-1 at home. The Wild have three games remaining and will likely have to win two out of three to clinch a playoff berth without any help from others. Zach Parise scored the lone goal for the Wild, his team-high 17th on the season. Minnesota is currently in seventh place in the Western Conference with several teams hot on their trail. The Wild outshot the Flames 35-24, but Calgary scored three unanswered goals and have won six of their last eight games. Minnesota (24-18) will play at home again on Tuesday, April 23 against the reigning Stanley Cup champion Kings. They host Edmonton on Friday and wrap up the regular season Saturday at Colorado.
