St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Minnesota Wild has re-signed forward Jason Zucker to a two-year, two-way contract starting this fall, the team announced on Tuesday after Zucker missed the final quarter of the season with a torn left quadriceps.

The 22-year-old racked up five points in 21 games with Minnesota a season ago while tallying 13 points in 22 games with the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).

The 5-foot-11 forward was selected in the second round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Wild.
