Newark, NJ ( --- Despite not having a first-round pick, the Minnesota Wild drafted seven players during Sunday's NHL Entry Draft at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. With the 46th pick in the second round, the Wild selected defenseman Gustav Olofsson of Sweden. The 6-foot-2 Swede played for Green Bay of the USHL last season and had 31 points in 63 games. In round three, Minnesota drafted Kurtis Gabriel of Newmarket, Ont. The 6-foot-4 winger played in 67 ames for the Owen Sound ofthe Ontario Hockey League this past year, putting up 28 points. WIth the 107th pick, Minnesota opted for Dylan Labbe, the defenseman out of Canada. The 6-foot-1 20-year-old played for Shawinigan of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey, totaling 28 points in 61 games.
