Summerside, P.E.I. (NNCNOW.com) --- Minnesota lost a two-goal lead in the third period, and the Brooks Bandits scored first in overtime to beat the Wilderness 5-4 at the Royal Bank Cup Canadian national junior A semi-final on Saturday.

Brooks got on the board first but Jordan Shockley answered with a goal of his own in the second period. Conrad Sampair scored just 44 seconds later to put Minnesota on top 2-1.

Mike Dietrich, the SIJHL player of the year and playoff MVP, scored the third goal for the Wilderness, and Nick McCormack made it a two-goal lead for the Cloquet-based team.

But with just 18.7 seconds left in regulation, Dakota Mason knotted the game up once more. Mark Reners' scored his second goal of the game and notched the game-winner 8:30 into overtime.

The Bandits will meet the Summerside Western Capitals in Sunday's Royal Bank Cup championship game.
