St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Minnesota Wild forward Zach Parise and defenseman Ryan Suter have been invited to participate in the U.S. men's national team orientation camp, it was announced by USA Hockey on Monday.
The camp will run from Aug. 26-27 at Kettler IcePlex in Arlington, Va. and will serve as an orientation for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.
Parise played his first season with Minnesota in 2012-13, totaling 18 goals and 20 assists in 48 games while leading the team to the Western Conference quarterfinals.
Suter was also playing his first year with the Wild this past winter, and he finished the year with four goals and 28 assists while being named a finalist for the NHL's Norris Trophy.
