Chicago, IL (NNCNOW.com) --- Ryan Braun played for the first time in four games and Marco Estrada pitched seven strong innings on Monday afternoon, each leading the Milwaukee Brewers to a 7-4 win over the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.
Estrada allowed just two earned runs on five hits across his seven innings of work, earning the win in his second start of the 2012 season.
Braun went 3-for-4 at the plate in his first game since last Friday, having missed that time with neck spasms. Martin Maldanado was the offensive hero for the Brewers, going 3-for-5 with a three-run double coming in the first inning.
Milwaukee is now (2-5) this 2013 season and will next be in action at 7:05 p.m. April 9 against Chicago.
