Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The #8-ranked University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) women's hockey team lost 3-2 to Ohio State on Saturday afternoon, with the Buckeyes completing the weekend sweep of the Bulldogs.
Jessica Wong scored just 15 seconds into the game for UMD, that marking her 100th career point as a Bulldog.
Pernilla Winberg was the other goal scorer for UMD, her goal coming early in the third period to tie the game at 2-2. Ohio State's Bryanna Neuwald then scored the eventual game-winner with just over three minutes remaining in the contest.
Kayla Black finished with 22 saves for the Bulldogs, who fall to (0-2) so far in the 2012-13 season.
