Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Twins rookie Kyle Gibson struggled in his second start in the majors, and Vernon Wells drove in three runs for the Yankees en route to their 9-5 win over Minnesota on Thursday. Gibson gave up eight earned runs and 11 hits in 5 1/3 innings. Brian Duensing gave up a run in 1 2/3 innings of relief. Justin Morneau hit two solo home runs in the loss, his first multi-home run game since September 2012.
