Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) head men's hockey coach Scott Sandelin says it was a difference of energy from his team that changed the Bulldogs' fate from a win on Friday to a loss on Saturday.

UMD scored just 65 seconds into the first period on Friday night, holding a 4-1 lead after the first 20 minutes and winning that game by a 6-2 final.

On Saturday, though, it was Ohio State taking the early 2-0 lead and claiming the victory by a 3-2 score. Sandelin was happy his guys battled back, but he wants a better effort for a full weekend moving forward.

Sandelin made his comments while appearing on the weekly show, "Bulldog Country," which airs Friday and Saturday nights on the My 9 Sports Network.
