Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team has now lost the second game twice this season after winning the first in a weekend series, a trend head coach Scott Sandelin says he'd like to see stop immediately.

The Bulldogs beat Notre Dame 3-1 this past Thursday before falling 4-1 on Friday, leaving Sandelin feeling that his team had missed an opportunity to get two wins in the series.

With UMD starting play in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) this upcoming weekend against Wisconsin, Sandelin said it'll be even more important to play well in both games of a series.

Sandelin made his comments while appearing on the weekly show, "Bulldog Country," which airs Friday and Saturday nights on the My 9 Sports Network.
