11 UMD Connections to NHL Prospect Camps

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- 11 players with connections to UMD will be participating this summer in NHL prospect camps, including seven currently in the Bulldogs' program.

Goaltender Kenny Reiter and forward J.T. Brown are the only graduated Bulldogs to be invited to a camp, with Reiter going to New York and Brown to Tampa Bay.

The current UMD players with prospect camp invites are forwards Dan DeLisle, Joe Basaraba, Max Tardy, and Caleb Herbert and defensemen Drew Olson and Chris Casto.

Adding to that list are three UMD recruits in forwards Tony Cameranesi and Dom Toninato along with defenseman Andy Welinski.

Below are listed the destinations for all the players with connections to UMD for their upcoming NHL prospect camps.

Graduating UMD seniors Travis Oleksuk (San Jose) and Brady Lamb (Calgary) each signed professional deals following this past season, but neither have been confirmed as prospect camp invitees as of yet.
