Vadnais Heights, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The UMD softball team dropped its final two scheduled indoor games of the season on Wednesday, losing 7-0 and 13-1 to #15-ranked Augustana.
Hermantown native and UMD sophomore Megan Mullen had five strikeouts in each of the games, and Michaela Goris was 5-of-7 at the plate for the Bulldogs.
UMD now holds an (8-8) overall record this season and will start play this weekend in Kissimmee, Florida as part of the Rebel Spring Games.
