In men's college hockey on Saturday, UWS tied Eau Claire 3-3. The Yellowjackets finished in last place in the NCHA. The CSS Saints, who finished second in the league, will host UWS in the first round of the playoffs.

Both games will be played at Lakeview Arena. Game one is Friday, and game two Saturday. Both will start at 7:05pm. A tie score at the end of regulation, will have a 5 minute overtime. If the score is still tied, the game finishes as a tie. A team needs 3 points to advance, meaning a win and a tie. The more likely scenario of advancing is winning both games.

If the two teams split in the series, a mini-game will be played following the conclusion of the second game on Saturday night. The game consists of one twenty minute period. If the score is tied after the period, it will go into sudden death overtime until there is a winner.
