#9 Bulldogs Shocked by #14 Golden Gophers

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The #9-ranked UMD Bulldogs men's hockey team let a late one-goal lead slip away, then saw the #14-ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers win in overtime on Friday night at AMSOIL Arena.

Nate Condon scored in the extra session for the Gophers, shocking a Bulldogs team that had taken a 4-3 lead late in the third period.

UMD got goals from Caleb Herbert, Travis Oleksuk, Drew Olson, and Justin Crandall in the loss. Goaltender Kenny Reiter made 39 saves while Minnesota's Kent Patterson made 41.
