Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Saturday night marked the final time the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team would play a regular season game as a member of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA), and the Bulldogs skated away with a 6-0 win over #16-ranked Nebraska-Omaha.

The game also marked the final home game of the season for UMD, in which the team and its fans honored seven senior players in between the first and second periods.

Joe Basaraba scored two goals for the Bulldogs in the winning effort, with tallies also coming from Austin Farley, Cal Decowski, Andy Welinski, and Mike Seidel.

Five of the Bulldogs' six goals came on the power play, tying a school record for most goals with the man advantage in a single game.

Aaron Crandall made the start in nets for UMD, making 32 stops to earn his second shutout of the 2012-13 season.
