Bulldogs' Jeffers is NSIC Player of the Week

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) senior infielder Kierra Jeffers has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) player of the week, it was announced on Tuesday.

Jeffers had five hits in seven at-bats this past week, batting at a .714 clip across two UMD wins against Southwest Minnesota State.

The UMD senior had a double and a triple in the two games, driving in a team-high five runs against the Mustangs.
