Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) senior pitcher Julia Nealer has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) softball pitcher of the week, it was announced on Tuesday.
Nealer posted a perfect (3-0) record and a 0.00 earned runs average this past week, notching 25 strikeouts in 19 innings of work that included two no-hitters.
Nealer is (4-1) overall this season with a 2.18 earned runs average, posting 42 strikeouts over 35.1 innings pitched.
