Bulldogs Picked Second in Preseason NSIC Poll

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) women's volleyball team has been picked to finish second in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), that according to the preseason coaches' poll released on Thursday.

Concordia-St. Paul was picked to finish atop the league standings for the ninth consecutive season, receiving all possible 15 first-place votes.

UMD received no first-place votes by finished just ahead of Southwest Minnesota State in the annual poll, that after the Bulldogs earned a share of the conference regular season title in 2011.

Below is listed a breakdown of the preseason coaches' poll as it relates to the entire conference, with first-place votes listed in parentheses.
