Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The UMD Bulldogs are National Champions, and this coming Wednesday, the community will get a chance to celebrate with the team and coaches. A formal welcome home ceremony is being planned for 6:00 PM on Wednesday night, and it will be carried live on the My 9 Sports Network.
A special broadcast looking back at the Bulldog's season is set to air immediately following the ceremony.
The UMD Bulldogs returned home to AMSOIL Arena late Sunday night, nearly 24 hours after winning the first national title in program history.
The team was met by about 100 people Sunday.
