Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) football team is in the NCAA Division II tournament for a sixth straight season, and for the fifth time in that stretch the team will host a playoff game.

UMD will host Emporia State this Saturday afternoon at Malosky Stadium, marking just the third-ever meeting between the programs and the first since 1955.

"We're going to prepare heavily like we do for every team," UMD freshman quarterback Drew Bauer said, "but being that it's playoffs, I think we really need to crack down. We have to focus on the small things that will make a big difference in games."

Saturday's game is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start and can be seen on live television in the Northland on the My 9 Sports Network.
