Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth volleyball team was named the #5 seed in the NCAA Division II Central Region on Sunday night, marking the Bulldogs' 11th straight season qualifying for the national tournament.
The Bulldogs will face #4-seeded Central Missouri in the first round, which will be played November 29 at the Gangelhoff Center in St. Paul, Minn.
UMD finished the regular season with a (27-3) overall record and, after tiebreakers, awarded the #3 seed at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) tournament.
The Bulldogs swept Winona State before falling in straight sets to Southwest Minnesota State in the semifinals, so the team heads to the NCAA tournament with a (28-4) overall record.
Below are listed all the matches in the 2012 NCAA Division II Central Region, with the championship match to be played December 1 at the Gangelhoff Center on the Concordia-St. Paul campus.
