Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Ashland, Wis. native and St. Scholastica senior Tiff Hudack has been named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) softball player of the year, it was announced on Monday.

Hudack led the Saints this season with a .427 batting average and also was the team's top player with 50 runs scored, which ties a single-season program record.

The utility player also knocked in 32 runs this season and is two runs batted in shy of becoming just the seventh player in program history to have 100-plus hits, runs batted in, and runs scored in a career.

Hudack was also named to the all-UMAC first team, marking the second straight season she has earned that honor.
