CSS' Stainer is UMAC Player of the Year

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- St. Scholastica sophomore Josh Stainer has been named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) men's tennis player of the year, it was announced on Tuesday morning.

Stainer, who was also named to the all-UMAC first team for a second straight season, finished the season with a (14-6) record at the No. 1 singles spot, including a (6-0) mark against conference opponents.

He also led the team with 20 doubles victories, which tied a single-season program record, with he and partner James Mack winning their final 10 matches of the season.
