CSS Women, Men Advance to UMAC Finals

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The St. Scholastica women's and men's soccer teams are headed to the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) finals following home semifinal wins on Tuesday.

The women got goals from Duluth East graduate Kelsey Kehtel and Casey Mitchell to beat Bethany Lutheran 2-1, while the men got two goals from another former Greyhound, Rob Johnson, to beat Crown by a 3-0 score.

Both teams will now host Minnesota-Morris on Saturday for the conference postseason championship, with the women going at 11:30 a.m. and the men at 2:00 p.m.
