Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The defending national champion UMD football team will play a second round NCAA tournament game on Saturday, taking on #1-ranked Colorado State-Pueblo.
The winner of Saturday's matchup is off to the Division II national quarterfinals, and, if all goes right for the Bulldogs, that game could be played in Duluth at Malosky Stadium.
UMD is currently ranked ninth in the nation at Division II, sporting a (10-2) record, and coming off a 30-27 overtime win in the first round of the playoffs.
