Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women's hockey team built a three-goal lead against No. 4 North Dakota but couldn't hang on down the stretch as they fell 4-3 on Saturday at AMSOIL Arena.

The Bulldogs jumped out to an early lead thanks to a goal from senior captain Jamie Kenyon, her 13th of the season. Then later in the first on the power play, Sidney Morin scored her fourth of the year.

Kenyon added another in the second to put UMD up 3-0 before North Dakota rattled off four unanswered goals.

UMD (13-11-5) and North Dakota (17-7-3) face off again on Sunday at 3:07 p.m. for Senior Day.
