Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth men's hockey team led 3-2 in the second period but gave up three unanswered goals to drop their third straight game 5-3 on Friday night at AMSOIL Arena.

Justin Crandall got UMD on the board first with a powerplay goal but the Broncos answered just over a minute later to tie it at one. Sammy Spurrell got the second goal of the game for the Bulldogs, but again it was Western Michigan who tied it up.
