'Dogs Sweep BSU, Unbeaten Streak at Eight

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) women's hockey team earned a weekend sweep of Bemidji State with a 4-2 win on Saturday, extending the Bulldogs' current unbeaten streak to eight games.

Brigette Lacquette, Jenna McParland, Pernilla Winberg, and Brienna Gillanders all scored for UMD in the winning effort, and Kayla Black made 22 saves to earn the victory.

UMD is now (11-8-3) overall and (10-7-1) within the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA).
