Eau Claire, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth, Minn. native and UW-Eau Claire sophomore Caroline Henderson has been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) women's soccer player of the week, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Henderson scored two goals this past weekend, including the game winner, in the Blugolds' 3-2 overtime win over UW-Stevens Point. That win marked the team's first win of the season against a WIAC opponent.

The former Duluth East standout now leads UW-Eau Claire this season with five goals through 10 games.
