Duluth's Stratioti Headed to NCAA Championships

Fayetteville, AR (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth, Minn. native and North Dakota State junior Paige Stratioti qualified for the Division I NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 800m run on Friday night at the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds in Fayetteville, Ark.

Stratioti finished with a time of 2:06.21, good enough for second in her quarterfinal heat to earn to automatic qualifying spot.

As one of 24 runners left in the country in the 800m, Stratioti will run in the national semifinals in Eugene Ore. on Wednesday, June 11 with the nationals finals schedules for Friday, June 13.
