Duluth's Stratioti, NDSU 14th at NCAAs

Eugene, OR (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth, Minn. native Paige Stratioti and the North Dakota State University (NDSU) women's 4x400-meter relay team finished 14th overall on Thursday night at the NCAA Division I outdoor track and field championships in Eugene, Ore.

Stratioti ran the first leg of the race for the Bison, running a split of 52.7 seconds to put her team in fifth place following the opening 400 meters.

The Bison finished the race in 3:35.36 to come in fourth in the third heat and 14th overall, with only the top eight advancing to Saturday's final.

Stratioti also competed in the 800-meter dash at the NCAA Division I outdoor championships, finishing in 19th place in Wednesday's preliminary race.
