Sochi, Russia (NNCNOW.com) --- Former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) standout Jocelyne Larocque left her mark in her first Olympic game with Team Canada after scoring less than two minutes into the game in the opening round at the Sochi Games.

Larocque scored for Team Canada in her first shift, just 1:25 into the game against Switzerland. The Canadians have three Bulldog alums in the games: Larocque, Caroline Ouellette, and Haley Irwin.

The Canadians beat current Bulldog defenseman Lara Stalder and Team Swiss 5-0 on Saturday.
