Five Saints Named All-UMAC Performers

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Hibbing, Minn. native Mike Fontana was the lone local among five St. Scholastica men's tennis players to be named to the all-Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) first team, it was announced on Tuesday.

Fontana joins Josh Stainer, who was also named the UMAC player of the year, James Mack, Nick Lambrecht, and Cullen Combs in earning the all-conference honor.

The Saints this season had one of the program's greatest seasons ever, finishing with an overall record of (22-3) and winning the program's 18th consecutive UMAC regular season championship.
