Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- St. Scholastica junior outfielder Kyle Flagstad was named Tuesday as the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) player of the year, marking the second straight year a Saints player has received that honor.

Flagstad led his team in several offensive categories this season, including batting average (.424), slugging percentage (.698), runs scored (38), triples (8), total bases (96), and stolen bases (12).
