Gators Bounce Gophers from NCAA Tourney

Austin, TX (NNCNOW.com) --- The #-3 seeded Florida men's basketball team jumped out to a 21-point halftime lead on Sunday evening, eventually beating #11-seeded Minnesota 78-64 in the third round of the NCAA Division I tournament at the Frank Erwin Special Events Center in Austin, Texas.

Four players scored in double digits for the Golden Gophers, with Andre Hollins leading the team with 25 points. Trevor Mbakwe added 11, with Austin Hollins and Rodney Williams each finishing with 10.

Mike Rosario was the leading scorer for the Gators, finishing with 25 points in the winning effort.

Minnesota ends the season with an overall record of (21-13).
