Greyhounds' Tapper Among New UMD Recruits

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth East senior outfielder Noah Tapper has committed to play baseball for the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) starting in the 2013-14 season, one of six new recruits announced on Thursday by the Bulldogs.

Tapper has signed a letter of acceptance to UMD, that as he heads into his last high school season as a team captain for the Greyhounds.

The current Greyhounds joins Hermantown, Minn. native Kevin Stocke as the only local recruits for the 2013-14 UMD season, with Stocke signing his national letter of intent this past fall.
