Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The wait is nearly over for Scott "Honeybear" Hanna who only has one more day until he'll be inducted into the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Hall of Fame in St. Cloud, Minn. on Wednesday.
Hanna has spent more than four decades as a part of the University of Minnesota Duluth's (UMD) athletic program. He started in 1968 as a student-athlete and then went on to be the Bulldogs baseball coach, assistant football coach, and equipment manager until 2012.
On the night before his induction, Hanna gives all of the credit to those around him.
"Oh, I love this place," Hanna said. "Just take a look around here and see everything that's been done, where it's gone from when I started to where it is today. I think we're one of the best schools in the country at the Division II level, so I'm really proud to be a part of it."
