Hobey Baker Foursome Honored at AMSOIL

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) ---The four former UMD men's hockey players to win the Hobey Baker Memorial Award were honored between periods of Friday night's game at AMSOIL Arena.

Tom Kurvers, Bill Watson, Chris Marinucci, and Junior Lessard were part of a special ceremony before a sellout crowd to honor their accomplishments while skating under the Bulldogs name.

The four Hobey Baker winners for UMD is the most for any men's college hockey program.

Seniors Jack Connolly and Travis Oleksuk join sophomore J.T. Brown as candidates for the 2012 Hobey Baker Memorial Award.
