Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The St. Scholastica volleyball team narrowly missed qualifying for the NCAA national tournament last season, falling to Northwestern in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) championship match.
This year, the Saints again have their eyes set on the national stage.
The team lost only one senior from 2010 and boast only one senior on the 2011 roster, so head coach Dana Moore will rely a lot on her younger players to get the job done.
Zach Schneider recently talked with Moore about her team, the 2011 season outlook, and the UMAC's second year of having an automatic qualifier for the NCAA tournament.
