Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Former UMD running back Isaac Odim spent more than a month in training camp with the NFL's San Diego Chargers.
He carried the ball four times for six yards in the Chargers first preseason game, but was limited to special teams work in the final three.
Odim was cut by the team and not signed to the practice squad, so he is currently an NFL free agent, eligible to sign with any team in the league.
He is UMD's all-time leading rusher, won two national titles with the Bulldogs, and was a three-time All-American.
Zach Schneider recently talked with Odim about his NFL experience and what his plans are for the future.
