Johnson, Ohaju, Huberty Lead All-UMAC Picks

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica men's and women's indoor track and field teams each won a fourth consecutive Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) championship this past weekend, and on Thursday 35 athletes were named to the all-UMAC squad.

The Saints' Samora Johnson was selected as the UMAC men's track athlete of the meet, that after having posted wins in the 60-meter dash, the 200-meter dash, and the 4x400-meter relay.

On the women's side, Duluth, Minn. native Laurel Ohjau for St. Scholastica was named the UMAC women's track athlete of the meet after winning the 200-meter dash, the 400-meter dash, and the 4x400-meter relay.

She was joined by the Saints' Becky Huberty, who was named the UMAC women's field athlete of the week after taking first in both the weight throw and shot put competitions.

Below are listed all the all-UMAC award winners from St. Scholastica, with head coach Kirk Nauman being named the UMAC coach of the year on both the men's and women's side.
