Men 3rd, Women 4th in NSIC Cross Country Polls

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) men's and women's cross country teams have been picked third and fourth respectively in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) preseason coaches' poll, it was announced on Thursday.

UMD sophomore and Duluth native Amanda Bowman was tabbed as an athlete to watch this season on the women's side, as was UMD sophomore Dan Nielsen on the men's side.

Augustana was picked to win the NSIC championship for both the men and the women, with that school returning both conference individual champions.

Below are the full results from both NSIC preseason coaches' polls, with a team's respective first-place votes in parentheses.
